A. Yes, it is necessary to quote PAN on return of Income. Applicant will be liable to pay a penalty of maximum of Rs. 10,000 in case of any default.

Q. Is there any Tatkal facility for allotment of PAN?

A. No, there is no such provision for the allotment of PAN.

Q. How can I make “Correction or Request for New PAN Card”?

A. Applicants may obtain “Request for New Card or Correction/Changes in PAN card” through format prescribed by Income Tax Department.
